Funeral of Gordon Orange

Our dear brother Gordon Orange passed away peacefully on Monday night.Gordon has been a member of our church for more than 40 years, and has been the source of great encouragement to us. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at our church on Monday 24th June at 11:00am.

Thanksgiving Service at Warrigal Care

This Friday 28th June at 2pm, Jodie will be leading a thanksgiving service at Warrigal Care Albion Park Rail, Hostel Hall. In particular, there will be a special time to mourn the passing of our late sister, Rhonda Close. All welcome.

Seniors’ Ministry Taskforce

This Saturday 29th June from 7.30am to 11am. For anyone interested in contributing to a discussion about the future shape of our ministry to seniors. Join us for pancakes and bacon…! Please RSVP to jodie.mcneill@oakflatsanglican.com if you’re keen to come.

Green Day on Sunday

At 11am on this Sunday 30th June (after morning church) we’re going to put on our green T-Shirts and letterbox (NOT door knock) the whole suburb. Followed by free BBQ lunch. We’d love you to join us. We’re aiming for 40 people. If you don’t have a t-shirt, you can buy one on the day for $20 or $30 for two… or we can lend you one.

Men’s Dinner

Tuesday night 2nd July, our bishop Peter Hayward will be speaking to the men. It’s going to be on at the Shell Cove Brasserie function room, at Shell Cove Golf Club, at 6.30pm . Guest Preachers

During the July school holidays, we’re in for a treat! We have three guest preachers, including Grahame Scarratt (this coming Sunday – 30 Jun), Archie Poulos from Moore College (7 Jul) and our own John Wilson (14 Jul).

It’s that time again! If you’re not already serving on the roster or would like to no longer serve, please indicate on the comment cards or email office@oakflatsanglican.com

In the coming weeks we will be producing a new church directory that will be both printed for our members and also available online in our secure website. If you wish to opt out of having your details printed or in the password-protected, members section of our website, please let Jodie know via the comment cards or email jodie.mcneill@oakflatsanglican.com People who do not opt out by 30th June will automatically be featured in these directories.
