Slaves and masters

One of the strangest things in the New Testament is the fact that the practice of human slavery is not frowned upon.

In our modern, individualistic society, we find any challenge to our freedom to be an attack on our human rights.

Yet, when the Apostle Paul spoke about slavery, he chose to help believers work within a contemporary social structure without calling for that structure to be dismantled.

This Sunday, John Wilson will speak to us from Ephesians chapter 6 verses 5 to 9, where God tells slaves and masters how to live in a way that pleases God.

Come along at 9am or 5pm and find out what this ancient word means in our modern culture, as we hear God’s word speak today.
