News and Events for the week beginning 16th September 2013

Guest speaker – Gordon Cheng

We’re delighted to announce that Gordon Cheng will be our guest speaker next Sunday at our two church services. Gordon is well-known to many of us as an author and speaker, and now serves as a minister at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He will be speaking on our next section from Mark’s Gospel, ‘The King Betrayed’ (Mark 14:43-15:15).

Ladies’ Dinner

The next Ladies’ Dinner is on this Tuesday 17th September at Shell Cove Brasserie. Our speaker is Christine Jensen – a great night, not to be missed! The price is $25 per person (or $15 for pensioners and students), payable at the door. Bookings at the restaurant are essential, and can be made by emailing secretary@oakflatsanglican.com or phoning our office on 4256 6464. RSVP for restaurant nights are the Sunday night before the Tuesday dinner. More details oakflatsanglican.com/ladiesdinner/

Weekendaway 2014

On the weekend of 21st to 23rd March next year we’re heading away together to the beautiful ‘Waterslea’ site in Nowra for a great Bible teaching, prayer, and lots of opportunities to informally spend time together across the ages of our church. Our guest speaker is Mark Thompson, the Principal of Moore Theological College. More details will be provided soon, but for now please put the date in your diary.

SWITCH Conference
