Power in weakness – 2 Corinthians returns
Today we return to our 18-week series on the New Testament letter of 2 Corinthians, as we see what the Bible teaches us about how God shows his power through weakness. Our speaker today is Bishop Peter Hayward.
Maybe it’s the great food, or the terrific Bible teaching, or the rich fellowship, or even the awesome waterside, but whatever excuse you need, don’t miss out on our awesome church retreat on the weekend of 21st to 23rd March. Only six weekends to go until we head away together to the beautiful ‘Waterslea’ site in Nowra, to hear great talks from our guest speaker is Mark Thompson, Principal of Moore Theological College. Full details and registration forms available shortly.
Our first Men’s dinner for the year kicks off this Tuesday night the 4th February with our special guest, Graham Scarratt who will be speaking on the topic, ‘Responsibility or expediency’. We’re meeting at the church for this night at 6.30pm for dinner at 7pm. Bring a friend and prepare for a great night of food, fellowship, and filling with God’s word. Tickets $25 ($16 concession).
