Ladies’ Dinner

This Tuesday night 18th March we welcome Helen Thomas as our guest speaker at the Ladies’ Dinner. It will be at the church at 7pm and is only $6, payable at the door. More details at oakflatsanglican.com/ladiesdinner.

Weekendaway 2014

This Friday night is the start of our Weekendaway on 21-23rd March. Today is the very last day to get your form in. If you have registered then also please pick up an information sheet, as well as checking we’ve got accurate details on your personal health form and advising us by today. We have received some generous gifts that are available to those who need financial assistance in order to come. Please don’t let finances prevent you from coming. We’d love everyone from all our congregations to join us!

Our new elected representatives

As a result of last Sunday’s Annual General Meeting, we are now privileged to have the following office holders: Wardens: Troy Milliken (Rector’s), Geoff Kyngdon, Harley Mills; Parish Council: Paul Burgess, Michael Funcik, Robert Hannam, David Orange, Peter Taylor, and John Wilson (with two more to be nominated by Rector); Synod Representatives: Geoff Kyngdon and Robert Hannam; Parish Nominators: Troy Milliken, Jane Mills, Timothy Orange, Phillip Slocombe, and Rhonda Slocombe.

‘Jesus Brings’ event with Al Stewart

Al Stewart is speaking at a special event for the regional churches of Shellharbour on 9th April at Greater Union Cinemas, Shellharbour. Keep the night free to bring someone along to hear about why they should follow Jesus. Ask Adam Hotson for tickets. Also, join us at 7.30pm on 31st March at Shellharbour City Anglican for a prayer meeting for the event.
