‘Jesus is…’ Bible Talks in Term Two

This week is the third of our eight ‘I am’ statements that Jesus made in the New Testament book of John. We are coming face-to-face with Jesus as he shares who he really is and what that means for everyone.

Ladies’ dinner this Tuesday 20th May

Guest speaker Helen Thomas. Tuesday 20th May at the church at 7pm and costs only $6.

CHAOS free community car wash

As part of their series in James called ‘Faith that Works’, our high school youth group called CHAOS is organising a free community car wash. It will run from 8:30 to 2:30 on Saturday 31st May. Our aim is to open up our church to the Oak Flats community and serve them by washing cars. Speak to Adam if you are interested in partnering with CHAOS in this event.

Gong Men’s Day

Our men are heading off to Dapto to hear former Archbishop Peter Jensen speak on the topic, ‘Men, Identity and Sexuality’. Saturday 14th June at Dapto Anglican 10:00am – 3pm or 5:00pm – 9:30pm Cost: $35 ($25 concession) including roast lunch or dinner. Weekendaway 2015!

The date is set for next year’s church holiday! We’re heading down to Waterslea at Nowra for a great weekend of coming together across all our ages to learn, love, and laugh together. It’s the weekend of 27th to 29th March 2015. Put it in your diary NOW!
