This Sunday we welcome our new Assistant Minister, Simon Chaplin, who begins his four week series ‘Christ in the Psalms’ with the first talk titled ‘Sin and folly’ from Psalm 14.
During our service, we’ll have our weekly question and answer time, and Jodie will be answering these questions:
- Where did the demons go after Jesus drove them out?
- Does the modern Christian church still practice exorcism?
- What are ghosts, and could they be demons of trapped human souls?
We will also be taking the opportunity to meet Simon and his wife Amy, plus their children, Liam, Lily and Annabelle during our services.
Our 5pm evening service will be slightly different than usual. Our youth group, Refuge, are running a summer program for four weeks, and we will integrate a couple of their segments into the program for the night.
