Today’s Bible Talk
Today we continue our series looking at 2 Samuel as Simon preaches from chapter 19 verse 1 to chapter 20 verse 36, with the title, “The return of the King”.
This Tuesday night 21st November is our next Ladies’ Dinner. Our speaker is Bronwyn Kyngdon. We meet at our church and start at 7pm. Dinner is $7 payable at the door, and there is no need to RSVP.
St Andrews’ Day – Celebration service
Join us next Sunday 26th November at the special time of 11am for a combined celebration service followed by a spit roast lunch. Plan to stay at church with the meal starting around 1pm, followed by all age fun, together… and a jumping castle!
We love having kids at our church, and we really want to make sure they’re safe. To help with this, we are asking people to volunteer as a ‘Kidsafe Supervisor’ at our 5pm evening service. The role will just involve supervising the kids outside before their parents sign them out after 7pm. Please let us know via a comment card if you can help.
Are you free Saturday 9th December from 8am to 11am for a working bee? We’d love to spring-clean the church before our Christmas celebrations.
Put the date in your diary and start inviting friends! Two Sundays before Christmas, the 17th December at 5pm.
Each week we need to receive $5,000 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $3,888, leaving a gap of $1,112.
Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $260,000. Compared to that total we received $224,000, leaving a gap of $36,000.
Electronic giving is a great way to give! It helps us prayerfully plan our giving, and then the bank will help us keep that commitment, even when we may be unable to attend. To use your MasterCard or Visa to make a one-off donation, then securely provide your details by clicking on this link. Or, to give by direct transfer then these are the details.
