Morning Service Bible Talk

Today at our 9.30am service, Ken Coleman continues our series in the Gospel of John, with the next talk titled ‘The Water of Life’, with the bible readings Ezekiel 47: 1-12 and John 7:37-52.

Evening Service Bible Talk

At our 5pm service Ken continues our series on Hebrews, with the next talk titled ‘A New Covenant’, with the bible readings Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Hebrews 8:1-13.

Grace Slocombe

Grace peacefully passed away on Wednesday 30th October. Please join the family for a service at Croome Road, Albion Park Cemetery on Wednesday 6th November at 11am. A light lunch will follow at our church. Please uphold the Slocombe family in your prayers.

Men’s Dinner

The next Men’s Dinner (and last for 2019) will be held this Tuesday 5th November at 6.30pm at Oak Flats Bowling & Recreation Club, with guest speaker, Matthew Meek. Matthew will be speaking on the topic ‘Seeing God’s Glory’ from Mark 9:2-13. $31 per person (or $23 concession). Register online at www.oakflatsanglican.com/mensdinner.

Ladies’ High Tea

Join us on Saturday 16th November, 2pm to 4pm for a special Ladies’ High Tea. With guest speaker, Christine Jensen. There is no cost to attend this event, but please register at www.oakflatsanglican.com/ladiesdinner for catering purposes.

Pot-Luck lunch – Sunday 17th November

We will be hosting one of our ‘famous’ pot-luck lunches on Sunday 17th November after the morning service. This lunch is to thank and farewell Ken & Maureen Coleman, and to also welcome the Pursell family.

Pursell Commencement Service

On Wednesday 20th November at 7pm we will gather together a special service for our church and community as the Bishop formally welcomes Sam as our full-time Rector. A light supper will follow.
