Morning Service Bible Talk

Today at our 9.30am service, Ken Coleman continues our series in the Gospel of John, with the next talk titled ‘Following the Light of the World’, with the bible readings Exodus 13:17-22 and John 8:12, 31-47.

Evening Service Bible Talk

At our 5pm service Ken continues our series on Hebrews, with the next talk titled ‘A New Tabernacle’, with the bible readings Exodus 25:1-9 and Hebrews 9:1-14.

Next Week’s Bible Talk

Next week, we welcome Sam Pursell as our Senior Minister and will be starting a new series on Colossians, with the first talk titled ‘Give thanks for God’s Powerful Gospel’ from Colossians 1:1-14.

Spring Cleaning Working Bee

Are you free this Saturday 16th November from 8am to 11am for a working bee? We’d love to spring-clean the church before our Christmas celebrations.

Ladies’ High Tea

Join us this Saturday 16th November, 2pm to 4pm for a special Ladies’ High Tea. With guest speaker, Christine Jensen. There is no cost to attend this event, but please register at www.oakflatsanglican.com/ladiesdinner for catering purposes.

Pot-Luck lunch – Sunday 17th November

We will be hosting one of our ‘famous’ pot-luck lunches next Sunday 17th November after the morning service. This lunch is to thank and farewell Ken & Maureen Coleman, and to also welcome the Pursell family.

Prime Time Luncheon

Coming up on Monday, 18th November, 11.45am for a 12 noon start with a 2 course meal plus a talk between courses, finishing at 2pm. Cost is $10 and is located at the church. Ideal for our seniors and your friends and family.

Pursell Commencement Service

On Wednesday 20th November at 7pm we will gather together a special service for our church and community as the Bishop formally welcomes Sam as our full-time Rector. A light supper will follow.
