Baptisms, weddings, and funerals to remember
Church is more than just the regular Sunday services… we also come together for special times in our lives, such as baptisms, weddings and funerals.
Baptisms and naming ceremonies
If you would like to have a special church service for your child, then we’d love to talk with you about how we can serve you.
For people who are believers in Jesus and are regular members of a church, we are pleased to provide a Service of Infant Baptism (or ‘christening’ as it’s sometimes called). Please contact us to make a time to discuss your needs.
For people who are not sure if they’re a believer in Jesus but want to have a church service for their child, then we offer a Service of Public Naming, which is a great way to bring together people to pray for your child.
For adults who have become followers in Jesus, we are pleased to provide an Adult Baptism Service, and we would love to discuss this with you so we can provide the best-possible occasion.
A wedding is a wonderful event in our lives, and we would love to serve you by providing the best day possible.
Our church building is not particularly beautiful, and our location is not remarkably picturesque, but the warmth of our fellowship and the way we conduct our services and marriage preparation will certainly provide you with an intimate and joyful occasion.
One of our ministers would also be happy to consider conducting your service at another church building, such as St Paul’s Shellharbour, if you would like to be married in a more traditional-looking building.
To find out more, contact us to have a chat about your special day.
A funeral is an important day to celebrate the life of a friend or a loved one.
It is our pleasure and privilege to be involved in this special service, and we can conduct the funeral at our church, at the premises of the funeral director, at the crematorium or cemetery, or at your place of choice.
Please speak to us, or ask your funeral director to be in contact with us to make the necessary arrangements.
