I think we here, and many other Sydney Anglican churches, actually don’t talk enough about money.
And that’s why it’s great that the next two chapters on our eighteen-week journey through the letter of 2 Corinthians take us to the prickly subject of money.
These chapters confront many of the important issues that face us when it comes to giving money to the church.
And as we study them we will be reminded that it's good to talk about money, because giving money to God’s work is actually a core discipline of the Christian life.
And so, with that in mind, I’m going to unashamedly and unblushingly talk about why we all need to give money to the church.
