- Who we are
- What we do
In the world of ‘Christian camping’ there’s an expression that keeps on popping up: ‘temporary community.’
It’s a great way to describe what happens when a group goes away to effectively ‘live’ together at the one place at the one time.
Our theology drives us to see our gatherings around the word of God by the Spirit of God as a genuine ‘slice of heaven’, and when we join together for these occasions, we so often see great fruit from the time away.
My prayer is that we will be able to get nearly all of our church people away to our Weekendaway on 21-23 March next year at Nowra, and that as we do it, we will enjoy the great experience of loving and being loved by others.
Please put the dates away in your diary, and be assured that if you think that money will be a reason you potentially can’t make it, that we will make sure you’re able to come.
Guess what? Our whole church is going away on holidays together!
On the weekend of 21st to 23rd March next year we’re heading away together to the beautiful ‘Waterslea’ site in Nowra for a great Bible teaching, prayer, and lots of opportunities to informally spend time together across the ages of our church.
Our guest speaker is none other than Mark Thompson, the Principal of Moore Theological College, who will be helping us understand more about what Jesus is really like… his human and divine natures.
More details will be provided soon, but for now please put the date in your diary NOW so that you don’t miss out on this important weekend in the life of our church.
Please also pray that God will do great things by his Holy Spirit as his word richly dwells among us as we spend time together that weekend.
