Welcome Rayne!

Rayne Loehndorf, our Youth Intern

I am Rayne Loehndorf and I have come to Australia from Canada as a Ministry Intern for six months. I am 20 years old and come from Caronport, Saskatchewan.

I am studying to get my degree in youth ministry at Briercrest College & Seminary. I study under a professor named Ken Moser who lived in Australia for a long time.

I need to work in a church to fulfill a practical portion for my degree and I approached Ken to see if I could do it in Australia since I knew he was connected. He gave me Jodie’s name because he thought I would fit well and voila, I am here!

My role at church will be to do various ministries, with a focus on youth and kids, including teaching Scripture in School.

I never came from a Christian home, but my parents took me to church and Bible Camp from a young age so I have always known about the Christian God and was raised to believe in him.

In my teen years I had a youth pastor named Clay who taught me the Scriptures and showed me what it meant to be a real follower of Jesus. After a bit of a rocky time in my journey Clay told me I had to make a decision on if I wanted to surrender to Jesus or keep living my life however I wanted. I took the prompting and made a decision to follow God and never looked back.

I like music, eating good food, drinking good coffee, and playing board/card games, so I’m really not that hard to keep happy!

I am thrilled to be here with you guys and I am excited to see how God will use me and teach me as I serve you all in these coming months!
