It’s time for Green Day!

Dorothy at Shellharbour Square

For many of us, it’s nearly three months since we’ve worn our bright green ‘Get Real’ T-shirts. But that’s going to change this weekend!

After our church service on Sunday morning 30th June, we’re going to head out as a sea of green to put brochures and fridge magnets in as many of the 3,500 letterboxes in Oak Flats as we can.

If you normally come at night to our 5pm church, then join us at around 11am as we head out. After the letterbox drop, we’re all heading back to the church for a BBQ lunch. Yum.

Come along with your green shirt if you’ve got one, or buy or borrow one from us on Sunday.

In many ways, it’s a fairly impersonal, low-impact kind of way of connecting with our community… but certainly every bit of publicity for our church will make a difference.

Let’s pray that some people will be motivated to join us at church next Sunday after receiving these brochures, and that through this, more people might come to know the Lord Jesus.
