News and events for the week beginning 22nd March 2015

Our Revelation series continues today

Today we continues our series on the book of Revelation. Jodie is speaking on the topic ‘Revealing evil’ as we open up Revelation chapters seventeen to twenty.

Weekendaway next week!

Today is the very last day to register for next weekend’s church holiday on 27th to 29th March at Waterslea, near Nowra. We need to tell Youthworks our numbers Monday morning. Please do everything you can to join us, as it’s set to be a very special time away. John Woodhouse has prepared some terrific talks, and we’re praying that God will feed us in a powerful way as the Word is preached.

Remember – if you can’t afford to pay, we have people who will subsidise your fees. Money has already been given, so please come and join us!

And, don’t forget to pre-poll vote and also to plan for your ‘That’s Entertainment’ item and outfit!

Service changes for next Sunday

Due to the Weekendaway, next Sunday morning at 9am will have an informal service lead by Graham Scarratt. Our evening service will not be running this weekend.

Office security

To assist with office security, please ensure that our doors remain closed when groups and services are not meeting.

BCA Boxes due

If you’ve been collecting coins for Bush Church Aid (BCA) please return them this month for counting.

ANZAC Day Service

Our church will be participating in the service at the Oak Flats Bowling and Recreation Club. Jodie will be marching, praying in the service, and laying a wreath on behalf of our church. Please join us on 25th April at 9am in the carpark next to the church.

Giving update

Each week we need to receive $5,200, and our average in February was $5,125 per week, leaving a deficit of $75 per week. Overall for the year, we were $2,677 behind. Please pray that we close that gap and cover the financial needs of our church as we seek to grow the gospel of Jesus. To give by direct debit or Visa or MasterCard visit www.oakflatsanglican.com/give
