Jesus is heading to Jerusalem… and as he arrives we expect conflict and conquest… violence and victory… sacrifice and salvation.
What we’ll see together are two sections to this chapter, the king’s arrival AT Jerusalem, where Jesus approaches Jerusalem with a welcome fit for a king… and then secondly the King’s arrival IN Jerusalem, where Jesus enters and cleanses the Temple.
And whilst his coming death, and our salvation, is only around the corner, the train has left the station and it’s racing towards that destination.
And the question is this… are you prepared to go the whole way? Will you join with Jesus on the journey to the cross?
