Are you ready for a WeekendAway together?
31st March – 2nd April 2017
We’re going away on holidays together in 2017, and you’re invited to enjoy a terrific weekend of Christian love and learning at the beautiful Waterslea Conference Centre on the Shoalhaven River near Nowra.
There’s no better way to get to know everyone across the ages and stages of our church community, so don’t miss out on this time of loving, loving, learning and laughing together.
To register please fill in the online registration form.
Who is speaking?
Our speaker is Peter Jensen, the former Archbishop of Sydney. Previously Peter was the Principal of Moore College (1985-2001). It is an honour to have Peter Jensen join us for what will be a very encouraging and stimulating time away. This is an all-age event, and no matter where you’re at in your Christian life, prepare to be challenged, encouraged, and strengthened to follow Jesus.
What does it cost?
|Kids aged 3 to 4 (full-time)||$39|
|Family maximum (full-time)||$536|
|Private couple accomodation (offsite)||$189|
|Day rate (one main meal)||$69|
|Day rate (two main meals)||$79|
We are passionate about making sure everyone can make it along, so if money is tight, please don’t make that a reason to miss out. Please indicate on your form that you wish to request a subsidy.
The family maximum rate means that the third, fourth and fifth school-aged kids from the immediate family stay FREE, when sleeping in the same room as the rest of the family.
We’d really love everyone to come for the full time, but if that’s not possible, a day rate is available. Unfortunately there is no reduction for those who can stay only one of the two nights.
This year we are offering a payment plan, where you can pay the amount for the weekendaway in monthly instalments. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to pay via this option.
The Waterslea Conference Centre has five or six-bedded, air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms. This means that we are unlikely to have enough rooms to accommodate only one married couple to stay on their own, so some men and the women may need to sleep in either a male or a female designated room. If you have a strong preference about sleeping arrangements, please mention this on your registration form. Likewise, if you have medical reasons that require you to have special sleeping arrangements, please advise so we can help make your stay work best for everyone.
Private couple accomodation will be limited, and might be offsite. Therefore there is a surcharge to the total cost.
Teenagers who wish to attend without their parents are certainly welcome! To organise appropriate supervision, please contact Valerie in the church office.
In an effort to ensure the safety of all of our guests and to minimise harm, Youthworks is unable to cater for guests with anaphylactic reactions to food items and life threatening food allergies. These guests should bring their own PREPARED food to reheat to limit the threat of contamination. We ask that you assist us in this by not bringing any nut/peanut products on site e.g. peanut butter, peanut oil, confectionary / chocolate bars containing peanuts.
Please let us know your special diet information by updating your profile in www.oakflatsanglican.net and after you’ve logged on, clicking on ‘Update my details’. Or request a manual form.
