Coming up this Sunday 19th July 2015

This Sunday we begin the second half of our ‘Real Hope’ 1 Peter series, and I will be preaching on the topic, ‘Real hope as real employees’ from 1 Peter 2:18-25. It’s a section of the Bible that addresses ‘slaves’ but we’ll see that it’s actually got loads to teach us as we try to understand what it means to be a Christian in the workplace.

Having now read all of the book of Ecclesiastes as our Bible reading, we’re now going to read through the book of Hosea, which shows the judgement and mercy of God upon his people. Our Bible reading will be Hosea chapter one.

It’s also a Sunday where we’re going to meet a member, which means we get a brief look into the life of someone in our church, which is always a source of great encouragement.

We’re also going to do a ‘Green Day’ letter box drop after our morning church, so if you’re able to join us, bring along your green Oak Flats Anglican church t-shirt… and enjoy a free sausage sizzle for lunch afterwards.

PLUS – don’t forget that this is the last Sunday we’re meeting at 9am, as we move our church to the new time of 10am from the 26th July.

See you this Sunday at 9am or 5pm, or if you can’t make it, join us online at for our live stream.
