This Sunday we continue our new series, ‘Alive with Christ’ as we look at the remarkable passage of the Bible where Jesus walks with his followers after he’s been raised from the dead, but they don’t initially recognise him. It makes for a great story of despair then hope as these grieving disciples recognise that Jesus is risen!
Jodie is our preacher, and the title is ‘Risen and recognised’ from Luke 24:13-35.
It’s also the right time for us to recognise many of the needs of our missionaries, so we’ll have a special report from Phil Pratt about what’s been happening in the lives of our partners in global, word ministry.
We had a few technical hiccups with our live streaming last week, but we were able to post a video recording of the morning service at www.oakflats.tv if you missed it. God willing, it will all be alive and kicking this weekend. But as always, if you can be there in person, it’s a great encouragement to us all… and of course, to you!
Plus, it’s a great weekend to visit. Just come along at 10am or 5pm, and experience real hope in the real Jesus with your new friends you’ve not yet met!
