Summer Series – The Spirit-filled life
It is nothing short of a miracle that God the Holy Spirit lives within all of us who know Jesus as Lord and saviour. As the Holy Spirit lives within us, we gradually become more and more like Jesus, as we demonstrate in our lives what the Bible calls in Galatians 5:22-23 the “fruit of the Spirit.”
During the five weeks of Summer we’ll be looking in detail at the nine aspects of the Spirit’s fruit in the life of believers. Each Sunday we’ll have a different topic in the morning and the evening, so that we will cover the full nine aspects of the Spirit’s fruit, as well as an introductory talk on the first morning.
Next week, we welcome George Statheos as our guest preacher at 5pm. George is a school chaplain in Sydney, a veteran youth minister and conference speaker, and is well-known for his humour, his Hellenism (he’s a proud Greek!) and his heart for the gospel.
We also get our first chance (in his capacity as our all-new Assistant Minister) to hear Adam Hotson speak to us from God’s word in the morning at 9am… don’t miss his first Sunday in the pulpit!

New Rosters
Yes, it’s that time already and we’re making plans for our Term One rosters for next year. If you’re planning to be away at all from February to April then please log on to our members website and enter the dates that you’re unavailable. If you’d like to opt in or out of volunteer roles then please let Lydia know. Thanks so much for your help!
School holidays
During holidays many of our normal programs are taking a break, including our children’s and youth programs, our Seniors’ Service, our Men’s and Women’s Dinners, and other programs. A perfect reason to join us twice on a Sunday for our summer series!
