What Matters Now
Bible Text: 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 | Preacher: Jodie McNeill | Series: Power in Weakness
When the Apostle Paul met the Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus, everything changed.
Paul went from a church destroyer to a church grower, and not only was his life turned around, but his mission in life changed 180 degrees.
And as he was drawn into the very throne room of God, he was blessed by being able to see what matters now.
And what did he say that was? It was the need to be friends with Jesus before judgement day.
And the way we know Jesus is by trusting and obeying his gospel, his good news about how to be truly reconciled to God.
And that means that what matters now is speaking that lifesaving gospel to all who will listen.
That is why evangelism, speaking the gospel, became the most important thing in the life of the Apostle Paul, and why those of us who know Jesus should have the same mission and vision in our lives.
