Join us this coming Saturday, the 15th October from 8am to 3pm at Lake Illawarra High for painting, gardening & the creation of a unique outdoor learning area for the students. This Shellharbour City Council and church combined event will enable us to have an impact in our region as we seek to show practical love to our community. For this project we need everyone to bring supplies such as shovels, metal rakes, wheelbarrows, paint brushes, paint trays, gloves etc. as they won’t be supplied.
Tuesday night 18th October is our next Ladies’ Dinner. Our speaker is Christine Jensen. We meet at our church and start at 7pm. Dinner is $7 payable at the door, and there is no need to RSVP.
Each week we need to receive $5,500 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $3,824, leaving a gap of $1,676.
Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $238,140. Compared to that total we received $202,628, leaving a gap of $35,512.
Electronic giving is a great way to give! It helps us prayerfully plan our giving, and then the bank will help us keep that commitment, even when we may be unable to attend.
