It’s odd to think that we would choose to call the day of the death of our king a ‘good friday’.
After all, it was our fault that he needed to die at all.
It all happened because the first humans chose to rebel against God’s leadership of their life.
And because they rebelled against God, we all inherited the curse that came from their actions.
But the first ‘Good Friday’ fixed all that, because Jesus took God’s anger upon himself.
That means that God has forgiven everyone who trusts in Jesus, even though they don’t deserve it.
And so even though Good Friday was a horrible day of execution, it is a wonderful day of forgiveness.
So if you’re a friend of Jesus, Good Friday is the best day of all.
Let’s celebrate God’s amazing love on Good Friday!
