Today we continue our series looking at 2 Samuel as Jodie preaches from chapter 22 verse 1 to chapter 23 verse 7, with the title, “Real hope in the real king”.
Spit Roast Lunch
As part of our St Andrews’ Day, we will be joining together today for a Sunday Spit Roast followed by pavlova. Plan to stay at church with the meal starting at 1pm. Donation of $10 per person (maximum $25 per family).
Our Parish Council meets this Tuesday, 28th November at 7.30 pm at the church. Please remember them in your prayers.
Our final Mens Dinner for 2017 is on Tuesday night 5th December is our next Men’s Dinner. Our speaker is Graham Thomas, from Robertson Anglican. 6.30pm at the Central Hotel Function Room. Christmas Carols at Oak Flats
Two Sundays before Christmas, the 17th December, we’re opening our doors at 5pm for a night of Christmas Carols, with a free sausage sizzle. Invite your friends for this great night of singing and sharing about the saviour of the world!
Each week we need to receive $4,800 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $3,781, leaving a gap of $1,019.
Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $19,200. Compared to that total we received $15,126, leaving a gap of $4,074.
