Holidays are here!
We’re delighted that you could join us today during this time of holidays. If you’re taking some time off with family and friends then be sure to give thanks to God for the joy (and sometimes challenges) of relationships, as we hope for Heaven!null
Today’s Bible talk
Today we welcome Graham Errington who will be speaking on “Three Things” from 2 John.
Next week’s Bible talk
Next week Graham Errington will be speaking on “Three Kings” from 3 John.
Thank you for praying!
A special word of thanks to all those who have been praying for our members on our prayer list. It is greatly appreciated.
5pm Service dinners
Due to the holidays, we will not be having our usual 5pm dinners from Sunday 30 December 2018 to Sunday 27 January 2019. This will give our volunteers a well-deserved break.
Sunday, 13th January will be Simon and his family’s last Sunday with us. After the morning service, we will be having a special pot-luck lunch which is an opportunity for all members to say farewell. Please let us know if you are able to bring a casserole, rice or a dessert by signing up on the sheet on the noticeboard, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please see Coralie Pratt for further details.
Each week we need to receive $4,800 in order to meet our commitments. In the last calendar month, our average weekly giving was $3,781, leaving a gap of $1,019.Up to the end of the last calendar month we needed to have received $19,200. Compared to that total we received $15,126, leaving a gap of $4,074.Electronic giving is a great way to give! It helps us prayerfully plan our giving, and then the bank will help us keep that commitment, even when we may be unable to attend.
