Bible Text: 1 Peter 4:1-6 | Preacher: Jodie McNeill | Series: Real Hope

We don’t want the people around us to be too nice, because it will make us feel bad. But on the other hand no one wants to hang around those who are always naughty either. We kind of like the people around us being a little bit naughty and a little bit nice. But the Bible calls us to live holy lives as we seek to follow Jesus. This will mean that we will sometimes look, act and speak a little different to those around us. Form 1 Peter this week we will see that real holiness comes from hardship, real holiness seeks God’s will, real holiness avoids pagan living and real holiness escapes God’s judgement.
